Domain pointers allow you to “point” or “park” additional domain names to your existing hosting account.
This will allow users to also reach your website when entering the “parked” or “pointed” domain into their browsers.
For example: If your main website is called mumbaihosting.com. if you park another domain for e.g. mumbaihosting.in at your hosting account of mumbaihosting.com, then, users visiting mumbaihosting.in will see the contents of the mumbaihosting.com website.
You can park domain names from your cPanel control panel – Aliases section.
Be sure to match your parked domain name’s DNS settings to your main domain or the redirection will not work.
Login to cPanel.
1) Click the Aliases icon.
2) Enter the new domain you want to park here, then click Add Domain.
Domain parking is useful when you have additional domain names that you want people to be able to use to get to your website.
